Turning science-led skincare nutrition into compelling brand storytelling

Creative direction · Campaign design · Art direction · Digital & social

Advanced Nutrition Programme is a premium nutritional supplement brand focused on skin health and wellbeing.

Over three years, I created a range of integrated campaigns across social media, paid advertising, email and web, translating product benefits and scientific information into engaging visual stories.

The work brought together product storytelling, art direction and digital design to communicate the relationship between ingredients, products and their intended benefits. Creating a cohesive creative experience across consumer and trade-facing channels.

The challenge

Making complex product stories engaging

Nutritional supplements require a careful balance between communicating product information clearly and creating content that captures attention.

The challenge was to make ingredient-led stories accessible and visually compelling while maintaining a premium feel across multiple formats and audiences.

From explaining how products work together to presenting individual ingredients and manufacturing information, each campaign needed to turn detailed content into a clear and engaging visual narrative.

The creative approach

Connecting science, product and visual storytelling

My approach combined product-focused storytelling with distinctive art direction, using imagery, colour, typography and graphic composition to give each campaign its own visual character while maintaining a coherent brand experience.

Rather than relying on product imagery alone, I explored ways to visualise the ideas behind the products. From the relationship between complementary supplements to the ingredients and processes involved in their development.

This approach extended across social campaigns, website imagery, promotional banners, email communications and educational content.

Campaign highlights

01. Products working in synergy

Connecting complementary products through one creative idea

A campaign focused on two best-selling products and the idea of their benefits working together.

The creative explored how to communicate the relationship between the products through a connected visual narrative, adapting the concept across social media and digital placements.

The focus was on making the product pairing easy to understand while creating a distinctive, cohesive campaign.

02. Skin Accumax

Making ingredient stories more engaging

A series of social campaigns explored the ingredients and product benefits associated with Skin Accumax.

Carousel formats helped break down the information into a sequence of clear, digestible messages, combining product imagery and graphic elements to create content that was both informative and visually engaging.

03. The ocean campaign

A seasonal concept inspired by omega supplements

For a Christmas campaign spanning B2B and B2C communications, I developed an ocean-inspired visual direction centred on omega supplements and their relationship with other vitamins.

The concept drew on the visual language of the sea, using abstract water imagery, fish-scale-inspired forms and fluid product compositions to connect the campaign theme with the products themselves.

The creative extended across promotional assets, product imagery, animated content and customer reviews, creating a recognisable visual world across multiple touchpoints.

04. Digital campaigns and content

A consistent creative experience across channels

Alongside campaign work, I created website imagery, landing-page banners, email campaigns, social content and promotional assets.

I also developed educational visual content, including an infographic explaining the product manufacturing timeline and content presenting ingredient information.

Across these formats, the focus was on balancing clarity with visual appeal, ensuring that each execution worked within its channel while supporting the wider brand experience.

The outcome

A versatile body of integrated creative work

Across three years, the work spanned campaign concepts, product storytelling, educational content and digital assets for a premium nutrition brand.

The projects demonstrate an approach to creative design that combines visual exploration with clear communication. Translating detailed product information into engaging content that can work across multiple channels and audiences.

The takeaway: Effective creative direction is about more than producing individual assets. It is about finding a compelling visual story, making complex information accessible and building a consistent creative experience across every touchpoint.
